Budget 2009 - The result of the budget negotiations
Prioritizing of themes in 2009 and 2010.
A total of 383 million DKK in 2009 and 624 million DKK in 2010, have been allocated for strategic research.
The following themes have been prioritized:
Energy, climate and environment
- Energy systems of the future has been allocated a total of 190 million DKK in 2009 and a further 455 million DKK in 2010.
- Future climate and climate adaptation has been allocated a total og 43 million DKK in 2009. 20 million DKK in 2009 and 15 million DKK in 2010 has been allocated to the establishment of a climate research center in Greenland.
- Competitive environmental technologies has been allocated total of 10 million DKK in 2009 and a further 40 million DKK in 2010.
Production and technology
- Bio-resources, food and other biological products has been allocated a total of 45 million DKK in 2009 and a further 50 million DKK in 2010.
- Intelligent solutions for society has been allocated 10 million DKK in 2010.
Health and prevention
- From basic research to individualized treatment has been allocated a total of 30 million DKK in 2009 and a further 20 million DKK in 2010.
- Human health and safety in interaction with environmental factors has been allocated 19 million DKK in 2010.
Innovation and competitiveness
- The public sector of the future has been allocated a total of 15 million DKK in 2010.
Knowledge and education
- What works? – Evidence in practice has been allocated a 20 million DKK in 2009.
People and societal design
- Sustainable transport and infrastructure has been allocated total of 25 million DKK in 2009.
