This study takes a close look at the perspectives, possibilities and consequences of the development and utilisation of cognitively advanced robots.
It concludes that research and innovation in this area will make it possible in future to develop robots with more and more advanced cognitive capabilities and that there is great potential in such robots for alleviating critical problems and promoting innovation in areas of importance to society.
This study identifies five areas where utilisation of cognitive robotics would be particularly promising for Denmark.
