During the year The Danish Committees on Scientific Dishonesty (DCSD) dealt with 18 cases. Six cases were completed.
Scientific dishonesty was ascertained in two cases: one involved plagiarism and wrongful designation of the author, the other a display of negligence so gross that there was no choice but to call it scientific dishonesty, notwithstanding that the scientific message was unaffected. In three cases, violation of good scientific practice was ascertained.
Five cases were dismissed.
