Denmark - Hong Kong
In May 2009 a Memorandum of Understanding was signed.
In May 2009 a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed between The Innovation and Technology Commission of the Government of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region of the People’s Republic of China and the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation of the Ministry of Science, Technology and Innovation.
The vision of the MoU
The vision of the MoU is to develop and strengthen science and technology cooperation between the Hong Kong SAR and The Kingdom of Denmark.
Activities may include:
a) joint research and development projects
b) exchange of scientists and experts
c) exchange of science and technology information and documentation in the context of the cooperative activities
d) joint scientific workshops, conferences and symposia
The cooperation will be carried out mainly in the following technology areas:
a) nanotechnology and advanced materials
b) biotechnology and medical life science
c) solar energy
d) energy efficiency
The vision of the MoU is to develop and strengthen science and technology cooperation.
