EU’s 7th Framework Programme for Research (FP7)

EuroCenter supports the internationalisation of Danish research. The purpose of the Centre includes tasks such as giving information and advice to Danish companies, universities, research institutes and other operators about the participation in FP7.

The staff in EuroCenter can clarify whether you project idea fits into a call for proposals, assist in writing a project proposal and give advice regarding the legal and financial rules for participation in a project under FP7.

The services of information and advice are:

  • Answering questions by telephone or e-mail
  • Giving advice on proposal writing of up to 50 hours. EuroCenter will examine FP7 proposals from A to Z and give suggestions for improvements.
  • Individual consultations
  • Information meetings about the calls of the European Commission for FP7
  • Courses on subjects such as techniques of proposal writing, financial issues and legal matters.
  • Lectures, and presentations
  • Leaflets, reports and our quarterly EU-INFORMATION.

EuroCenter also contributes to the political work of the Danish Agency of Science, Technology and Innovation on topics regarding the framework programme, for instance as members of the programme committees for the various FP7 research subjects, co-responsibility for the reference groups hereunder and by contributing to initiatives and activities about internationalisation of Danish research.

In addition EuroCenter has the responsibility for two of the public funding schemes, subsidising the work of potential FP7 participants for preparing proposals and accomplishing the contract negotiations with the European Commission – the so called EU-preproject scheme and the scheme for project coordinators.

EuroCenter also publish biannual statistics and analyses about the Danish participation in FP7.
