1. Financial support for product development
- In 2011 the total financial support is 4 mio. Euro for Danish Eurostars projects. If your project is among the top 20-25 projects, a financial support of 300,000 euros (2,25 mio. DKK) can be yours. By participating in a Eurostars project, the financial burden of product development eases.

2. Gain acces to excellent research
Your chances on finding a relevant international research partner increases when supported by the Eurostars programme. Via the cooperation with other European firms and research institutions your SME can take advantage of the most up to date research in your product development.

3. Increase the market scope of SME products
After finishing a Eurostars project, your product must be introduced on the market within 2 years. Take advantage of the new business and research partners from the Eurostars project and introduce your product and firm to a broader market than before.
