The Danish Agency for Science Technology and Innovation provide a selection of initiatives to promote entrepreneurship and facilitate commercialisation of inventions from scientists, students and entrepreneurs.
Entrepreneurs
The Innovation Incubator Scheme provides professional counselling, pre-seed and seed capital for entrepreneurs and new innovative enterprises.
Scientists
The Proof of Concept Scheme provides universities with gap-funding for documentation and development of early stage inventions to a point, where private investors can be attracted.
Individual inventors
The Consultancy Services for Inventors provide advice for inventors in order to achieve successful commercialization of inventions, research and other commercially promising ideas to existing companies
Entrepreneurship training
The agency also sponsors the initiative Young Enterprise Denmark providing entrepreneurship training for students at universities and other educational institutions.
