SPIR - Strategic Platforms for Innovations and Research

SPIR funds initiatives which seek to strengthen the link between strategic research and innovation and thereby promotes efficient knowledge dissemination and possibilities for fast application of new knowledge in connection with innovation in the private and public sectors.

The Danish Council for Strategic Research and The Danish Council for Technology and Innovation jointly support one Strategic Platform for Innovation and Research (SPIR) in 2012 within the theme:

  • The Biobased Economy (approx. DKK 80 million)

The 2012 call has been announced (5 March 2012) and is available at "Calls" on this site.
