Sino-Danish strategic research cooperation in sustainable and renewable energy
Research grants for Danish scientists who cooperate with Chinese scientists in the field of sustainable and renewable energy.
Please note that the allocated financial framework for this call has been increased by the DCSR to DKK 13 million.
Who can apply and deadline?
- Danish scientists in contact with Chinese scientists within sustainable and renewable energy
- Prioritised themes in 2012 are: Wind Energy and Smart Grid, and Biomass Energy
- When looking for Chinese research partners Danish applicants within the theme Wind Energy and Smart Grid should be aware that the Chinese Ministry of Science and Technology (MOST) shall only fund Chinese researchers/universities who submitted an application to the pre-call in September 2011.

What can be funded?
You can apply for grants for a strategic research collaboration. Applications will be evaluated and selected according to the criteria described in the call.
A total amount of DKK 13 million for up to two strategic research projectshas been allocated to fond Danish scientists who engage in scientific cooperation with Chinese scientists within sustainable and renewable energy.
The call is based on an agreement with Ministry of Science and Technology in Beijing.
The Danish research funds are allocated by the Danish Council for Strategic Research’s Programme Commission on Sustainable Energy and Environment.
