Advice on how to find a company for an Industrial PhD project
- Contact the Industrial PhD Association and talk to some of the students there.
- Attend info meetings hosted by the Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation at different universities.
- Sign up for the Industrial PhD newsletter by writing a mail to .
- Make a survey of what companies you would like to work for – here you can make use of our list of companies which are experienced with the Industrial PhD Programme:
- Contact one or more companies and present your project to them.
- Think out of the box – the public sector is also a possibility.
- Contact university supervisors supervising Industrial PhD students.
- Consider talking to people from your personal network at the university, i.e. a PhD supervisor, and speak to him or her about your project.
- Keep an eye out for job advertisements about PhD positions.
- Contact relevant interest organisations.
