Follow-up

The Danish Council for Strategic Research follows the granted projects. The actual follow-up depends on the responsible programme commission and may, therefore, vary.

The general conditions concerning grants published by The Danish Agency for Science, Technology and Innovation contain information on the disbursement, use and administration of grants.

Moreover, the grant letter contains guidelines for:

- Specific conditions attached to the grant
- The disbursement profile
- Financial and academic reporting
- Dissemination and communication of the research results
- Requirements concerning entering into cooperation agreements in research activities including several partners.

The financial reporting can include annual and final accounts. The academic reporting involves progress reports and a final report.
The programme commission will during the project duration arrange various review meetings with the grant holder and, if required, other project participants related to the supported activity. At the meetings focus may be placed on specific professional or organizational challenges or problems, on professional, financial and time-related variances from the original plan, on the need for adjustments in plans and aims, or on publication and promotion activities etc.

Additionally, during the project duration there can be contact between the grant holder and the programme commission if e.g. the grant holder has a wish for professional, organizational or financial changes requiring approval.
