Who can apply?

The strategic research programmes are open to all public and private operators. The projects will normally be carried out in cooperation between public and private partners, and co-financing is expected from public as well as private partners. Furthermore, involvement of public and/or private users of the research results is expected. 
In addition, the Danish Council for Strategic Research emphasises to strengthen the international dimension of Danish research. The Danish Council for Strategic Research therefore wishes to fund projects that as far as possible involve international participants or international cooperation. As regards strategic research centres, it is a requirement that a binding international cooperation is included.
